MISSION STATEMENT: Disaster Relief for Kids is a non-profit organization that helps children in disaster stricken areas internationally. It will strive to fill the gaps created by a natural or human-made disaster in services and goods needed for the survival and basic sustenance of children in such areas. These services and goods shall include, but are not limited to, facilities for emergency and other health care, shelter and nutrition, education, social and recreational needs, etc. Initially the selection of disaster stricken areas will be on the basis of the urgency of need, availability of other similar assistance in the area, and on our logistical situation with respect to the magnitude of the disaster.
